Responsibilities :
- Lead and be responsible for the effective and efficient operation of production
- Be highly motivated and effective to meet or exceed customer expectations and operational performance.
- Engage and actively drive culture of perfect compliance, EH&S and quality.
- Collaborate and team with other supporting function to meet and exceed goals and target
- Lead and Drive improvement and changes to achieve next level of performance
- Lead continuous improvement through the application of CPEx
- Maximise growth and profitability through strategic planning and a focus on systems and processes to improve productivity and quality.
- Embed a culture of performance based on the Company’s Values (Integrity, Quality, Innovation, Customer Focus and Teamwork) and focus on the Company’s people philosophy.
- Take the lead in driving and monitoring departmental objectives to ensure alignment to the Company’s goals.
- Develop and manage annual production and capital budgets with a focus on product costs and margins. May have to manage P&L budgets for interim period.
- Support the development of NPI (New Part Introduction) in line with the Company’s corporate strategy and global market trends.
- Identify and build team capability and support broader group activities around succession planning and talent identification.
- Build strong peer group network to share best practices and problem solving initiatives.
- Support the broader Group change mandate through strong stakeholder relationships with colleagues, managers and Directors.
- Support the Company in the introduction of new technologies and specialist capabilities to reinforce strategic client relationships and succeed in delivering the Group’s long-term strategy.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience leading manufacturing operations. Experience in the aerospace industry is valuable but not required. Experience with casting, moldings, or coatings is also highly desired
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering or related field of study is required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven track record successfully managing operations to achieve bottom line profitability through sustainable operational excellence to include lean manufacturing, process management, systems maximization and the development of a strong team Able to work on shifts rotation (in a future)
