Responsibilities

1. Management of the Area Sales Team

  • To attain defined annual sales objectives.
  • To establish and maintain a close working relationship with each individual based upon frequent two way communication. To objectively evaluate and positively support the performance and progress of each subordinate.
  • To ensure that all subordinates are accompanied in the field on a regular basis, and that the frequency and duration of such accompaniments comply with the standards formally communicated by the Senior Management of the Company.
  • To ensure that all sales personnel plan, execute, analyze and record all calls and meetings in line with Company policy and as stipulated in their job description.
  • To communicate quarterly sales targets to each Professional Medical Representative. To communicate & monitor sales achievement and review progress on a regular basis and to ensure appropriate support, guidance and instructions so as to achieve optimal territory and regional sales performances.

2. Budgetary Control

  • To communicate to each team member their territory budget and also sales achievement.
  • To ensure that optimum utilization and benefit is derived from each territory in respect of customer contact and relations and sales development.
  • To ensure that all items of expenditure are scrutinized, authorized in advance and reimbursed within the administrative guidelines laid down by the Company.
  • To possess a thorough understanding of the Company policy with regard to entertaining and the funding of meetings, and to ensure that the Company’s image and reputation is never jeopardized by irresponsible or unethical practice in this respect.


Qualification

  • At least 5 years of successful experience as Medical Representative. Experience as Supervisor will be a definitive advantage.
  • Scientific Background (such as Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Technology…) and preferably with MBA.
  • Proven managerial skills.
  • Highly dynamic, dedicated to work and result oriented.
  • Good level of both written and spoken English.
