Responsibilities :

  • Develop channel food solution vision and strategy.
  • Accountable for defining overall priority sub-channels (Shop type), and categories within the channel to deliver Channel growth based on shopper and customer requirements, working with Category Development Managers to be in line with overall category strategies.
  • Accountable and responsible for driving the ICP by identifying the key opportunities (incorporating shopper behaviour in that channel, channel specific promotional learnings, competitor analysis and best practice inputs) and develop a commercial activity calendar for the channel.
  • Accountable for recommending suitable product format, packing size and trade margin base on shopper insight and retailer understanding within the prioritized channel.
  • Accountable and Responsible for recommending channel promotional guidelines based on shopper/retailer understanding and current market knowledge. Ensure all promotional investment is properly reviewed and evaluated.
  • Accountable and Responsible for ensuring pre and post evaluation of key channel development programmes (i.e., VIP, etc.) that is conducted and share learning with all the stakeholders. Evaluations to assess both financial and executional targets/KPI's.
  • Accountable and Responsible for sourcing, updating and communicating latest developments, trends, initiatives and competitive actions within the channel, assessing implications/opportunities for categories and brands.
  • Responsible for developing and coaching direct reports, ensuring PE/PDG discussions are conducted on time. Make recommendations for inclusion in talent programmes and succession plans as appropriate.
  • Responsible for ensuring adherence to all company principles and policies.
  • Accountable for developing perfect store based on shopper insights within a specific channel, work with Shopper Understanding and Activation and Category Development team to ensure channel growth.
  • Accountable for number of store growth and completion of must-list and must-have within the prioritize channel.
  • Accountable and Responsible for ensuring Regional Manager and TT field sales understanding on channel strategies and priorities./ finalizing action plans to close gap together with Regional managers./understanding key customers by doing fieldwork with Regional Sales Promotion.
  • Responsible for working with Customer teams to define and develop appropriate channel & key customer execution, sales and TTS targets.
  • Responsible for preparing for MSR meeting, collecting and preparing information for sales uplift based on ICP, reviewing the sales forecast and recommending action plans to close gap


  • Minimum 5 years experience in marketing and 2 years in other function ideally in trade marketing or sales from FMCG
  • Good knowledge of key business functions.
  • Working Knowledge of core Business Processes e.g. Integrated Commercial Planning.
  • Working knowledge of Marketing & Sales/SBU Tools & Best Practices (Shopper Excellence, Delivering Category Growth the Way, Channel Management the Way, Path to Purchase, Outlet Classification).
  • Understanding of Shopper, Market Intelligence sources, Category/Channel/Shopper trends.
  • Good English proficiency
