Responsibilities :

To lead a high performing sales team through the establishment and evolution of a genre based sales strategy (emphasis on Sport/Series & Entertainment genre) and plans supported by key account plans. This includes establishing challenging growth sales targets for genres and key agencies/clients with a supporting pricing and discounting framework to improve both commitments and margins. In order to achieve this, the role will need to lead the implementation of new team compensation and recognition systems to build, motivate and retain the sales team.

  •  Establish and maintain relationships with the senior stakeholders for both current and potential top revenue clients in Sports, Kids and News Genre (with particular emphasis on Sports) including development and update of key account plans and lead major sales pitches
  •  Lead the implementation of the new genre strategy (with particular emphasis on Sports) to drive revenue growth and profitability both for TV and integrated digital solutions including the generation of specific genre campaigns
  • Manage the performance of Sports, Kids and News channels to achieve sales, profitability and service targets (with particular emphasis on Sports) by overseeing the cascading of KPI, sales target and quota to a channel and platform level
  •  Oversee the overall operations of Sales Genre1 function including collaborating across other to ensure operational alignment. Providing decision making, approval, issue resolution and escalation as well as manage risk to ensure continuity of business
  •  Oversee Sales Genre1 team members, resource allocation, coach, mentor, and ensure an increase in team capability and competency. Manage, monitor, and evaluate performance of subordinates to ensure achievement of sales target in line with corporate process
  •  Lead the Sales Genre1 team with particular emphasis on Sports to achieve specific transformation initiatives allocated, as well as identify, develop, and communicate further improvement opportunities and report progress achieved
  •  Provide advice and industry insights in support of Strategic Planning to achieve the strategic plan with advanced and competitive pricing and discount frameworks and models


  •  Bachelors – ideally Business and/or Marketing majors.
  •  Work experiences of 15 years in sales. Experience in media industry is strongly preferred.
  •  Experience and a proven track record selling complex solutions leveraging data, analytics, or media sales, preferably to for TV Digital and Media Entertainments companies
  •  Familiar with the digital media environment and a working understanding of how campaign measurement works
