Responsibilities :
Business Leader
- Utilizes broad and deep business and HR principles and practices knowledge to understand business strategy and people impacts.
- Works with Thai BU Leadership and Group HR team to develop, communicate and execute the HR strategy in alignment with the Business strategy and growth plans.
- Participates in and may lead initiatives related to HR or Thailand business strategies.
- Translates the business strategy into HR strategies outlined by Senior HR leadership for Thailand
- Oversees the implementation of proactive, innovative, and customer oriented HR solutions through partnership with HR domains for Thailand and APAC.
- Oversees and facilitates the delivery of all HR services and solutions for Thailand by working closely with , HR Performance & Analytics, and other Business HR Leaders; ensures HR services are effectively and efficiently delivered in the business.
- Understands industry trends and anticipates the impact on the workforce and HR programs; represents the business in the external industry.
- In conjunction with senior business leaders and HR partners, leads the development of labor strategy for Thailand, in alignment with workforce trends, labor law, including migrant workforce strategy.
- Leads and is accountable for HR related M&A activities in partnership with HR process and resources to support Thailand growth strategy.
- Represents the voice of the business perspective in all HR matters
Talent Leader
- Responsible for identifying talent components of growth/strategy objectives across Thailand, in alignment with SEA strategic capabilities.
- Leads talent management strategy for Thailand and provides integrated talent management processes.
- Ensures that Thailand performance measures are aligned at the individual level and linked to compensation and incentives.
- Oversees the movement of talent resources in Thailand, and supports talent moves across SEA
- Coaches individuals and teams and builds strong capabilities in the Thai BU leadership team.
- Leads strategic workforce planning activities for Thailand in conjunction with SEA Group initiatives
- Champions diversity and inclusion within the respected platform/function/BU(s); leads diversity strategies.
Change Leader
- Proactively identifies need for organizational change and enables those organizational changes (e.g. Growth, M&A, Divestiture, Process Change, etc.) through business and HR partners.
- Leads Thailand organization transformations/redesigns to achieve strategic objectives with assistance of COE expertise.
- Builds change capability within Thailand and manages constructive conflict related to the change efforts within leadership team and other senior managers.
- Identifies, evaluates, and manages complex risks to the business relating to employees.
Culture Steward
- Works through HR teams and partners to assess, monitor, and communicate organizational culture and engagement.
- Analyzes the link between employee engagement and associated costs; consults with leadership regarding engagement and acts as champion for engagement for Thailand.
- Responsible for building and sustaining a culture that creates a competitive advantage for Thailand.
People & Resource Management
- Accountable for the embedded HR budget for Thailand as a roll-up of the HR budget and process
Qualifications:
- University degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or applicable field
- Minimum 10+ years work experience in HR
- Demonstrated proficiency in talent management approaches, including processes, succession planning, leadership development and coaching
- Minimum of 5 years of influencing across a complex matrixed organization
- Strong change leadership experience
