Responsibilities :

Position Purpose:

  •  Lead marketing activities for the Thailand aquaculture business that supports execution of the local & regional strategy which allows us to win with customers and drive profitable growth.

Principal Accountabilities:

  •  Develop strategic marketing plans and lead the tactical execution with sales
  •  Gather local market insights: data on competitor products, customer needs,market prices, farmer production costs & risks, other market trends
  •  Partner with commercial team to implement go-to-market plans
  •  Support sales by providing marketing materials & tools
  •  Manage marketing calendar of events and promotions such as tradeshows,conferences and customer events
  •  Lead internal and external communications strategy

Lead strategic marketing for Thailand aquaculture business (fish & shrimp animal nutrition) (40%)

  •  Lead development of strategic go-to-market plans that support the strategy across the region via customer segmentation and targeted offerings, activities & communication
  •  Lead deployment of new global marketing products, solutions, and services across the region
  •  Manage product life-cycle plan; develop and periodically revise Portfolio Strategy to enable the business to reach desired potential

Gather local market insights (25%)

  •  Visit customers in field to support sales efforts, identify and understand customer needs, opportunities/challenges
  •  Track and analyze competitor’s value proposition, product offerings, recent actions, developments and trends
  •  Share insights with regional pricing analyst to enhance customer economic model and provide guidance into pricing process

Commercial support (20%)

  •  Partner with commercial team to implement go-to-market plans; lead trainings and workshops to provide them with marketing tools to be effective in their role
  •  Support sales presentations that communicate value proposition & brand message
  •  Attend customer events and support as needed with customized materials / compelling value proposition message

Marketing materials (10%)

  •  Coordinate promotional materials and ensure consistent brand message
  •  Lead local bag design that supports brand & product portfolio strategy for the region

Communications (5%)

  •  Develop internal and external communications strategy and calendar; coordinate with regional team
  •  Manage key internal stakeholders through effective communications

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelors Business or Life Sciences
  •  Masters in Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management
  •  Marketing experience with sales exposure, Strategy consulting (5-10 years preferred)
  •  Computer skills
