Responsibilities:

• Ensure the delivery of new and improved products in line with business briefs (value creation, cost optimization, regulatory requirements, and company standards), while meeting agreed project timelines. Scope includes NPD, productivity, and secure supply initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Cycle & Procurement teams and suppliers to identify ingredient innovations that enhance both consumer experience and operational efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional and global R&D teams to troubleshoot quality concerns, including those identified during shelf-life testing.
• Oversee plant validation and factory trial runs for both new products and product improvements.
• Coordinate the preparation of product specifications together with Operations, third-party manufacturers, and in alignment with company standards.
• Strengthen the technical expertise and leadership capabilities of the product development team.
• Define and prioritize critical product development steps while identifying resource needs to deliver both short- and long-term objectives.
• Supervise the preparation of prototype samples at both lab scale and pilot plant scale.
• Manage in-house sensory evaluations and provide support for consumer testing activities.
• Apply product technical expertise from diverse sources to resolve challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Engage suppliers early in the development process to co-design innovative technical solutions.
• Prepare dossiers and supporting documents required for FDA registration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in food product development.
• Proficiency in both English and Thai.
• Ability to taste and evaluate products.
• Willingness and ability to learn how to operate laboratory instruments for mixing and packaging.
