Responsibilities:

• Promote a zero-harm safety culture across all operations.
• Oversee resource allocation and drive capability building at the country level.
• Provide project management and execution support for mechanical engineering initiatives.
• Govern the implementation and compliance of mechanical engineering standards across projects in Thailand.
• Contribute mechanical expertise throughout the design, project management, and commissioning phases.
• Lead end-to-end talent management for the Mechanical Engineering team, including development, performance, and succession planning.
• Ensure all OEM equipment and engineering outputs meet Mechanical Engineering standards and support local teams in adhering to relevant regulations.
• Develop and implement mechanical equipment strategies and standardization across the ASEAN region to enhance scalability and optimize resource utilization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Mechanical Engineering qualification with more than 10 years of professional experience.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
• Demonstrated effective change leadership across a global, multicultural functional organization.
• Desirable Experience in Mechanical equipment design & manufacturing for Cold Rolling Mills, Strip Processing Line / Color Paint Line/ Furnaces
• Exceptional communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) for both technical and non-technical subjects, adaptable to all organizational levels
• Proven Experience in Mechanical Equipment Design and Manufacturing with a capability to design, analyze and implement strategic upgrades for heavy Metal industry.
• Proven Experience in understanding of implementation of mechanical design concept in Hydraulics system, Bearing applications and selection, Machine Design, Material selection and application, Gear Box and Transmission systems, etc.
