Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and ensuring the integrity of all compensation data.
  • Regularly reviewing compensation data presented on HR dashboards.
  • Acting as the custodian for the organization's HR Compensation & Benefits policies.
  • Collaborating with and providing support to internal HR teams on various projects as needed.
  • Monitoring and ensuring the effectiveness of the performance management system to measure and enhance staff performance.
  • Conducting thorough data analytics to provide stakeholders with clear, actionable insights for decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Reviewing and updating rewards (compensation) and talent management policies and practices to ensure full compliance with all legislative requirements.
  • Analyzing external market data and internal employee data to develop accurate salary budgets and forecasts that support the organization's reward strategy.
  • Leading key annual cycles such as annual salary reviews (ASR) and bonus distributions, providing essential guidelines, templates, rewards matrices, and calculation support.
  • Collaborating with managers to develop and implement compensation strategies that align with business needs while maintaining consistency with the organization's overarching reward strategy.
  • Ensuring the organization offers competitive compensation and benefit programs that effectively attract, retain, and motivate employees. This means designing and implementing cost-effective programs aligned with business strategies.
  • Selecting and managing ongoing relationships with external consultants and suppliers (e.g., insurance providers/brokers, actuaries, and benefits providers) to ensure the organization receives a satisfactory standard of service.
  • Designing and executing comprehensive compensation and benefit programs. This includes key areas like job evaluation, employee benefits, and various compensation structures (e.g., for expatriates and executives), as well as retirement and pension plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an international FMCG company, in a managerial or similar role.
  • Familiarity with relevant government legislation and requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of compensation & benefits practices and industry standards.
  • Customer service-oriented, with a meticulous and detail-focused approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of interacting well with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven expertise in specialized C&B areas such as salary benchmarking, compensation surveys, reward framework development, job evaluation, salary structure design, performance review processes, and expatriate mobility.
  • Demonstrated experience across various HR functions, including General Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Development, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Relations (FMCG sector experience is a plus).
