Responsibilities:

  • Keeping the operational efficiency masterplan on track.
  • Making issues and problems visible for leaders to address.
  • Overall Coordinator of operational efficiency implementation.
  • Discussing issues and making them visible for leadership action.
  • Working closely with other operations efficiency leaders to reapply best practices.
  • Ensuring work processes are in place to drive reapplication and common standards.
  • Responsible for operational efficiency promotion, communication, and education.
  • Conducting daily consultative reviews with teams/individuals on small group activities.
  • Leading the site Pillar review process to ensure a PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) thought process.
  • Leading initiatives for productivity and process improvement across all operational functions.
  • Providing daily consultation to the Site Leader, Pillar Owners, Department Managers, teams, and individuals.
  • Leading Leadership Pillar Team (LPT) meetings to discuss site-wide issues constraining operational efficiency progress, or adjust pillar focuses.
  • Responsible for overall safety, including inspections, investigations, implementing corrective and preventative actions, and reporting on safety incidents.
  • Accountable for promoting WISE (workplace health and safety), iCare (quality and commitments), Nature (environmental preservation), and Compliance @ SN (ethical business practices).
  • Responsible for managing the change process and the successful implementation of operational efficiency across all factory departments. This is critical for improving organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or Engineering.
  • At least 10 years in LEAN Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
  • Good English proficiency.
  • Highly structured way of working.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Strong analysis and development skills.
  • Expert in Lean manufacturing methodologies and tools.
  • Effective in leading strategic, tactical, and progress meetings.
  • High standard of accountability and ownership, serving as an example.
  • Highly energetic and motivated; acts as an accelerator for the program team.
  • Highly knowledgeable in ISO/HACCP/GMP/Safety/Environment Systems, LEAN Master, and Six Sigma.
  • Demonstrated leadership competencies, great coaching skills, and adaptable to different situations.
  • Proficient in project management, including risk analysis, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Experienced in leading pillar assessments, with strong knowledge of operational efficiency work processes and tools.
