Responsibilities:

1. Month-end closing and reporting:

• Ensure the company’s guideline appliances.
• Ensure correctness of MARS reporting.
• Responsibility (coordination and participation) for reviews/dashboards.
• Develop and update monthly closing/reporting schedules based on regional/group requirements.
• Communication with BU2 Asia 1 controlling as key interface.
• Perform analysis, propose, and follow-up countermeasures.
• Ensure follow-up actions from reviews.
• Responsibility for establishing and coordinating reporting file templates and supporting Alea/Excel/PowerPoint documents.
• Prepare presentation material based on group guidelines/templates.
• Ensure closing update by management required.

2. Business planning:

• Develop and update the company’s planning schedule based on regional/group requirements.
• Establish internal KPI targets according to Management strategy/targets.
• Active participation in discussion of business strategy with Management where needed.
• Support, review, and coordinate with related departments (cost centers, material cost, capex, inventory, headcount/personnel cost).
• Analysis and consistency check of ME plans.
• Prepare and participate in reviews with Management.
• Ensure correct and complete MARS Reporting.
• Prepare presentation material based on group guidelines/templates.
• Ensure planning updates by Management requirement.
• Ensure deadlines are kept.
• Responsibility for establishing and coordinating reporting file templates and supporting Alea/Excel/PowerPoint documents.

3. Transfer pricing:

• Support regular TP update process.
• Support appliances with tax laws in Asia 1 countries.
• Ensure understanding in all Asia 1 MEs about TP incl. guidelines.

4. SAP:

• Identify improvement potentials.
• Support SAP improvement projects.
• Planning project schedules, and ensuring SAP project management.
• Harmonization and standardization of SAP processes.
• Minimize the usage of Lotus Notes Databases, future use only as an interface to SAP where possible.

5. Others:

• Responsible for Perf. Lift program in BU2 Asia 1 region.
• Ensure the company’s signature and approval guidelines are applied in all MEs.
• Responsible for structured training process/training packages for new company's controlling employees.
• Follow-up internal audits.
• Act as a controlling interface to regional shared service centers and other departments.
• Support a firefighting department in case needed in the company’s control including business travels overseas.
• Miscellaneous.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related fields.
• At least 10 years of experience in Controlling/FP&A.
• Good accounting know-how and Cost center controlling, SAP (PS, CO, FI).
• Fluent English language skills and MS Office.
• Very good leadership skills, Analytical thinking, Team player/communication skills, Self-starter and result-driven.
