Responsibilities:

• Lead and implement Data Governance strategy in terms of technology, people and processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across the organization to comply with regional standard, local regulatory requirement and company direction.
• Design and implement data quality assurance processes and controls, data linage and meta data management, maturity assessment of end to end data life cycle.
• Provide oversight and assurance that processes, tools and technologies are operating effectively to mitigate risks on data management related.
• Lead/facilitate Data Governance Council.
• Provide/manage training program to promote data awareness on a regular basis.
• Deliver management report or assigned tasks on overall data management as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in computer sciences / business administration/information management or related fields.
• Minimum 7-10 years experienced in IT & Data management, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in data management tools, data governance, and data quality tools is beneficial.
• Strong stakeholder management communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to discuss strategy at a senior management level.
• Proven skills in managing complex business issues across multiple stakeholders and multiple geographies.
• Must be able to effectively work independently as well as on a team, and be able to take a lead role in managing data management and implementation.
