Responsibilities:
1. Legal Contracts
- Assist SEA Senior Legal & Compliance Manager to draft, negotiate and manage all fundamental business contracts including sales and distribution contracts, services agreement, and/or any other commercial contracts as required by the MBU.
2. Legal & Compliance
- Assist SEA Senior Legal & Compliance Manager in applying, implementation and enforcement of Corporate Compliance Policies, Guidelines, Audit Compliance Policy and Legal & Compliance Risk Management with the objective to reduce legal risk and protect the assets of the MBU.
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk and develop/implement corrective action plans.
- Assist SEA Senior Legal & Compliance Manager in performing compliance and risk assessment exercises.
- Management of legal process systems (contracts management policy, CVM, compliance approvals etc.).
- Assist SEA Senior Legal & Compliance Manager in managing the bi-yearly corporate and litigation reporting to headquarters, company secretarial matters, understanding and advising on local corporate law requirement and advocating strong internal governance.
- Ensure collaborative objectives are achieved with various internal stakeholders in relation to internal audit, internal control, risk management, process improvement and efficiency.
3. Legal Advice
- Perform legal risk assessment to identify legal issue/exposure and be able to provide a sound, substantiated, and timely legal advice to Company’s internal stakeholders.
4. PDPA
- Act as a focal point of contact on all matters relating to Data Privacy and assist SEA Senior Legal & Compliance Manager and SEA Legal Team in applying, implementation and enforcement of the Company Data Privacy Policies.
5. Ad hoc work
- Assist SEA Senior Legal & Compliance Manager and General Secretary Team in executing and completing special task on ad-hoc basis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Law/Legal. Advocate & Solicitor / Legal Practitioner (or equivalent).
- Minimum PQE 5 years in a Thailand legal firm or as an in-house counsel in FMCG industry.
- Business acumen, ability to multi-task and experience in handling complex projects.
- Proven ability in multi-tasking, prioritizing workload, high attention to detail, meticulous, follow-through and accuracy.
- Ability to manage documents filing systematically.
- Possessing fundamental knowledge of PDPA law. Experienced in PDPA matters is a plus.
- Collaborative mindset and attitudes.
- Ability to handle intermediate to complex contract drafting, reviewing, executing and filing.
- Ability to prioritize and lead action plan with pragmatism.
