Job Scope:

  • Lead the growth and development of the firm’s strategy consulting business (corporate sustainability transformation, independent due diligence, market entry, corporate venturing services) across the Indo-Pacific region
  • Lead business development drive across the Indo-Pacific region with close supervision of engagement proposal submissions, client relationship management and quality control of client deliverables.
  • Lead and improve the firm’s strategy consulting services training program
  • Close and regular co-ordination with the firm’s strategic service partners across the region and ensure follow-up on joint business plans
  • Support CEO (and where necessary stand-in for CEO) in supervising the firm’s three Engagement Teams: review of financial performance each quarter, lessons learnt, financial targeting for next quarter, business development strategy and priorities
  • Support CEO (and where necessary stand-in for CEO) in preparation for and chairing the firm’s Strategy Committee, Board of Directors and Executive Committee meetings.
  • Support the MD for Corporate Development in developing and managing the company’s management systems including timesheets, financial management, credentials database and cloud filing systems.
  • Support the MD for Corporate Development in managing hiring, staff welfare, dismissals, new service agreements, sub-contracting agreements and other HR development issues.

 Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 8-12 years’ experience with a top-10 mainstream global strategy consulting firm focused on corporate strategy, corporate finance and/or due diligence.
  • Extensive experience and expertise in the infrastructure, energy, resources, basic industries and/or technology sectors
  • Substantial experience in working for clients in the Indo-Pacific region
  • Exceptional client relationship and staff mentoring skills. People-skills
  • Commercially-minded with strong track-record of successful new business origination
  • Quality-control obsession

  • Impeccable (international strategy consulting standard) English
  • Preference for Thai national with fluent Thai (written, spoken, reading), to be based in the firm’s Bangkok office
