Role Purpose:

• Responsible for set the direction in New business underwriting to support channels (Agency, PD and DM) in achieving production target every month.
• Account for manage operating efficiency and improve team underwriting capability for High net worth and effective pipeline management to ensure proposed customer get insurance coverage and partnered sales team can obtain the remuneration in time.

• Leads, develops and motivates both Medical and Non Medical underwriters to review the pending within service level agreement and less Memo pipeline with good sense of risk selection. 

• Reviews and made decision under given authority for the special request of the underwriting approval, exempted medical examination from partner.

Minimum requirements:  (Qualifications and Experience)

• Experienced life insurance underwriting, knowledge in medical and financial underwriting and regulation.
• Ability to deal with the queries of field force distribution on client’s cases and manages positive relationship with effective negotiation skill.
• Stress tolerance under pressure
• Graduate/ Post Graduate, with preference to background in Technical Areas as Medicine
