Responsibilities :

The Business Development Lead will be responsible for identifying and materializing new business for Thailand and Vietnam directly related to the growth strategy. This can include moving into new segments, geographies, and M&A activity for transformational growth. This role is critical to strategic execution and will be a significant driver in the mid to long term sustainability of the Feed additives & TVN business.

Principal Accountabilities:

Project Management:

- Creates and specific project action plan with KPIs, dates and accountabilities

- Leads the organization without direct authority in the execution of the plan

- Coordinates a multifunctional team of internal and external stakeholders

- Demonstrates agility whenever necessary to adapt the plan to different circumstances, and aligns to team to execute on the change.

Business Development: 

- Identifies profitable business opportunities and take the necessary steps to capture them

- Develops a deep understand of the relevant market/segments including structure, competitors, customers, and commercial returns.

- Develops and evaluates various business models’ strategic and financial fit with Company and recommends best course of action including required resources, critical capabilities, and execution plan

- Is capable of communicating the opportunity in a clear professional way facilitating alignment with third parties and within the company - Works with relevant functions (FP&A, legal, tax, SMT, Commercial) to align objectives of the opportunity

- Negotiates with potential partners to secure deals that benefit both parties in an efficient and transparent way

Be accountable for results:

- Along with SMT and commercial, co-leads the organizational development of distinctive capabilities to generate value for Company customers

- Designs and ensures the correct execution of the business opportunity

- Measures and manages the project to maximize results

- Applies technical, business and financial acumen to influence the business

Qualifications: 

- Having more than 5 years of previous professional experience in project management

- Proven experience in management of animal production systems

-Strong leadership skills, team building, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Strong commercial acumen and instincts

- Must have sense of prioritization, urgency and entrepreneurial proven track records

- Proven ability to effectively collaborate, influence and lead change

- Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach

- Execution track record

- Understand customer value creation to be aligned with company’s competitive positioning

- Frequent travelling for this role is necessary.

- Bachelor degree Animal Science, Aquaculture background is preferable
