Responsibilities : 

  • Committed to respect specific rules to comply with the WHO Code of Breast Milk Substitutes and any related regulations applying locally
  • Being accountable and responsible for safety
  • Act as a business partner for the CBU leadership with strong financial accountability, solid financial analyses and business intelligence
  • Drive entrepreneurial financial initiatives and breakthrough ideas/business models as part of the start-up nature of the CBU. Forecast and monitor the costs, drive frugal spending, act as the “financial conscience” of the business and protect the bottom-line through a “pay as you go” approach if needed
  • Monitor & manage all aspects involving the financial performance of the Thai Waters CBU (payments, monthly closing & reporting, rolling forecast, cash management, strategic planning etc.), in close cooperation with the CBU leadership team and the Regional Business Unit (RBU)
  • Work closely with your Finance counterparts of the local Joint Venture partner
  • Coordinate with the Regional VP Finance and the controlling team of the JV partner to understand financial performance, risks & opportunities, rolling forecasts and strategic planning.
  • Consolidate and monitor progress of improvements on internal controls vs targets assigned
  • Prepare the monthly post-closing report for RBU management team, including a strong & fact-based interpretation of financial performance (with support of the CBU leadership team)

Qualifications :

  • Education Background:  degree in accounting, finance, economics, business or management
  • Solid technical skills in corporate finance and accounting
  • Experience in a business finance role (preferably in FMCG)
  • Analytical and structured
  • Strong communication skills both English and Thai
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to establish relations built on high level of trust
  • Ability to prioritize and respect deadlines
  • Pragmatic and flexible/agile
