Report to
Senior COE Partner, People Matters

Responsibilities:

  • Lead investigation and resolve all China based employee issues and cases (excluding NJ)
  • Take a leading role in all regional ISE related cases or issues and provide guidance/expertise to market HR
  • Provide guidance and expertise to other markets on LL5+ issues/cases and take a leading role on confirming approach and decision alignment
  • Review all above salaried disciplines to ensure consistency and equitable practice across the region
  • Counsel above salaried employees regarding job-related matters
  • Interpret and administer most salaried policies and procedures having People Matters implications (e.g., voluntary and involuntary separations, Policy Letter administration, employee conduct, etc.) in the region
  • Serve as a resource for regional HR, market HR, operating management, and employees on the fair application of policies and practices
  • Support manager to lead People Matters online surveys and audits in the region
  • Support manager to lead the regional policy consistency program
  • Provide support and counsel to the OGC to resolve litigation of employment issues
  • Scan the internal environment to identify trends that may affect or change the relationship the Company has with its employees
  • Assist on the regional labor strategy and coordination work, including working with each market on updating labor environment, negotiation status, labor cost, and etc

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor and above
  • Experiences 10 years and above
  • Be well acquainted with company policies and practices
  • Be well acquainted with labor law and regulations of China and other countries in AP
  • Develop a strong sense of objectivity
  • Ensure all legitimate employee interests are considered and confidentiality maintained
  • Previous employee relations, HR business partners or labor relations experience is preferred
  • Strong English communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong project management skill
  • Strategic thinking, well organized and detail driven
