Assistant Airfreight Import Operation Manager ( 80 K )

Report to
Air Import Manager


Contact with local customer

  • Send pre-alert to customer as required.
  • Contact consignee when shipment is required for green light.

Airfreight Operations

  • Manage staff to take picture of PMC / Container at Terminal Operator on time.
  • Create job file and invoice timely & correctly to meet with KPI.
  • Update event data in Pegasus as required from operation controller / sales correctly & timely.
  • Monitor all Delivery/Order notices and to release final consignee on time and correctly.
  • Create PV / Approve PV.
  • Inform sales, customer services and overseas when damaged goods are found.
  • Submit Intend to file a claim to the carrier as Standard Operating Procedure - Damaged.

Contact with overseas

  • Follow up when cargo or documents are missing.
  • Follow up invoices in case of missing and checking.
  • Follow up when shipment is partial.
  • Follow up overseas of TELEX amendment.
  • Provide network info as SOP Air Import and rate (cost / selling) when required.

Cooperate with other BUs

  • Cooperate with accounting for billing and checking litigation.
  • Cooperate with OC for pending supplier invoices that could not be matched with JIA.
  • Provide overseas D/N with JF no. and send to OC and accounting for matching.
  • Provide sales & customer services info and rate (cost / selling) when required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any related disciplines
  • Experience in the freight forwarding field at least 7 years.
  • Strong knowledge of Air Import Process.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to solve problem in emergency case.
  • Good interpersonal and relation with other people.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office.
