Responsibilities:

The Finance Manager /Accounting Manager position is responsible for various aspects of financial planning and analysis for an entertainment company and will act as liaison between Finance, Accounting, Commerce and Business Affairs departments, prepare and analyze forecast and actual results, perform project analyses and other ad hoc analyses as required.

  • Providing and interpreting financial information.
  • Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends.
  • Analysis change and advising accordingly.
  • Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk.
  • Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Support completion of the monthly and 15 months corporate financial forecasts, internal monthly forecast, and annual plans, as well as support elements of monthly financial close.
  • Support sales analysis lead via completion of monthly sales forecasting, expedite completion of weekly label reports for senior management, master licensing monthly analysis, and other research projects as required
  • Analyze and approve third-party deal statements.
  • Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
  • Managing budgets.
  • Managing the company’s taxation
  • Arranging new sources of finance for a company’s debt facilities.
  • Formulating strategic and long-term business plans.
  • Expected to enhance and modify models and maintain databases as needed.
  • Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations such as the Revenue Department.
  • Handle frequent ad-hoc projects and analyses as assigned Finance Director and management.

Qualification:

  • Families USGAAP plus local statutory and regulatory
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in the use of spreadsheet, accounting, and financial applications software; SAP (GFS/HFM) experience/knowledge preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office products including advanced skills in Excel.
  • Great organizational skills with the ability to prioritize based on evolving workload.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, including adaptability, personal effectiveness, and the ability to establish quick rapport.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to communicated and writing English (intermediate up)
  • CPA or CPD holding.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting/finance, preferably with an entertainment (music) company.

Education:

  • MBA, or Master Degree (specific to business, finance, financial consulting, or accounting) and should have Bachelor Degree in accounting before higher degree.
