Responsibilities :

  • To lead and develop a team of talent acquisition professionals to define and execute the talent acquisition strategy in the market, defining objectives and relevant measures. Responsible for ensuring that the talent acquisition strategy is aligned to business goals and the overall talent management strategy in the market
  • Accountable for ensuring status as an employer of choice and the delivery of a high quality and cost effective supply of external talent across various company entities and functions
  • Design and execution of market talent acquisition strategy. Engage senior leaders in the business and HR colleagues to determine and record functional/business talent acquisition strategies. Lead the relevant talent acquisition team members to deliver positive outcomes in line with the strategy, taking accountability for success
  • Support the market talent strategy by aligning activity with Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, and HRBP's, aligning the approach (touch points, handovers) taken by all involved to ensure a seamless and integrated recruitment process. Utilize external information and data (e.g. competitor recruiting, labour market trends) to inform market talent strategy
  •  Ensure that the market is equipped with the right selection tools and adopts best practice talent acquisition process. Demonstrate return on investment (ROI) of resource allocation and candidate sourcing, attraction and selection spend
  • Ensure key stakeholders are aligned to the defined talent selection process, and drive an understanding of innovative and new approaches to position the candidate experience as an industry best
  •  Establish and maintain effective win-win working relationships with managers, employees and their representatives through an environment that fosters communication and co-operation
  • Promote and foster a culture and environment that is productive, open, empowering, safe and equitable and coach others to behave and make decisions in line with the company’s Management and Leadership Principles
  • Lead and determine the best team resource/people allocation to optimise effectiveness and delivery. Demonstrate leadership qualities to guide and facilitate the success of individual team members throughout the function
  • Accountable for the successful implementation of projects within the Talent Acquisition team, engaging and motivating team members’ involvement and responsibilities
  • Develop the internal understanding of our employer brand, ensuring consistency of communication from hiring managers to candidates across the market, partnering with T&L to establish training courses. Ensure that external communication channels to prospective candidates are representative of our employer brand key attributes and consistent in approach. Optimise the use of digital and social media channels to source high quality talent and position company (or business entity) as an employer of choice
  • Establish a subject matter expertise in executive search for senior leaders. Work effectively with senior management (Head of HR) to support selection of executive search suppliers, and develop an understanding internally of executive search methodology, timing and practice. Provide support and expertise when contracting with suppliers

Qualifications:

  •  A minimum holder of Bachelor’s degree in HR ore any related fields
  •  Possess at least 8 years of experience in HR function in managerial roles preferably in Talent Acquisition
  •  Experienced in leading and managing change through the effective use of organization design, development and business transformation techniques
  • Possess influencing and coaching skills
  •  Experience in leading people and projects
  •  Possess track record of successful experience in contributing to the creation, implementation & execution of people strategies for a business, function or unit
  • Experienced in working within a Matrix environment; achieving results through effective influencing and collaborating
