Our Client
One of the world’s largest international companies in agriculture and food processing business

Responsibilities :

Business and Process Leadership

  • Develop and execute strategies around people processes and services for the businesses and functions within the country
  • Operational Excellence – ensuring quality service delivery in line with HR Delivery Model: including  but not limited to Payroll, Data Management and Reporting, Compensation and Benefits Processes, Workers compensation, HR policies,
  • Support the translation of business strategies to HR strategies; responding to changing needs, understanding the business, industry-thinking and acting like a business manager; using financial measurements, to help gauge results
  • Ensuring all global and regional HR strategic activities are implemented within the country while making sure that the country perspective is taken into consideration as required
  • Understand industry trends within the country and anticipate the impact on workforce and HR programs
  • Ensure system or process projects or upgrades are effectively implemented – ensure resources are allocated and impact to ongoing services minimized. Examples include ADP Payroll project near completion, and Kronos project that has not yet gone live as primary payroll system

People Leadership

  • Provide continuous improvement leadership to improve services and processes
  • Lead, motivate and develop the HR Operations Team to ensure its effectiveness and efficiency
  • Responsible for providing leadership, feedback and support to the team in the areas of Development and Engagement
  • Ensure HR development and HR talent pipeline is managed successfully in country

Stakeholder Management

  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and align new or scope changes to service catalogue and resourcing requirements
  • Review and/or develop global/regional HR Services/Operations related communications regarding strategies, policies, programs, and processes for distribution to employees, retirees, business leadership, HR teams in the country
  • Provides leadership on the design and delivery of HR Services/Operations training/education sessions for employees, HR professionals, and/or supervisors/managers in the business
  • Provides leadership for activities related to the selection of vendors and the management of external vendor relationships

Fiduciary Compliance

  • Provide country level employment governance and company control requirements including M&A activities (including due diligence, integration, divestiture), policy review and alignment, pension committee leadership and compliance
  • Ensure compliance of all company HR Policy as well as employment labor law in the country, and compliance of various business policies and practices in Thailand
  • Oversees accountability measures and processes that enforce and ensure compliance

Qualifications:

  • University Degree
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Human Resources
  • Demonstrated track record in handling multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Knowledge of human resources practices, local labor and employment laws and understanding of their impact on the business
  • Ability to work across employee groups and management levels
  • Experience leading teams and developing people based in different locations
