Our Client
A leading international consumer goods company

Responsibilities :

  •  Responsible for developing category & channel MBS vision and strategy -including Category Growth Agenda and Category Investment Strategy to profitably maximize our client’s category market share.
  •  Accountable & responsible for driving the ICP process by identifying the key opportunities (incorporating understanding on shoppers, category, customer, competition, channel and external environment) and develop a commercial activity calendar for the Category.
  •  Accountable & responsible for defining strategies and plans that deliver Category/ sub Category growth based on consumer, shopper and customer requirements. (DCG)
  •  Accountable & responsible for identifying priority channels for the Category/ sub Category and work with Channel Managers to recommend tailored Category Channel plans in line with overall market strategy.
  •  Accountable and responsible for working with Shopper Understanding & Activation team and Channel team to develop the in-store vision of success (Perfect Store) for the Category/ sub Category in each channel. Recommends actionable in-store solutions to support in-store vision. Supports its implementation and continuously review the effectiveness of our in-store actions.
  •  Accountable and responsible for monitoring promotional trends, initiatives and competitor actions by Category/ sub Category, priority channels and strategic customers. Identify and recommend promotional opportunities for our client’s categories and Brands.
  •  Accountable and responsible for recommending clear promotional guidelines based on shopper understanding and current market knowledge. Ensure promotional investment is properly evaluated.
  •  Accountable for proposing optimal TTS budgets for category by channel based on ICP. Ensure all TTS investment is properly reviewed and evaluated.
  •  Accountable for collaborating with Consumer Marketing Manager in developing an optimum pricing strategy that fulfills shopper and trade/customer expectations.
  •  Responsible for supporting innovation & renovation based on shopper understanding which includes identifying opportunities and product conceptualizing.
  •  Accountable and Responsible for preparing and implementing new product trade launch plan and conducting pre and post evaluation.
  •  Accountable and Responsible for recommending winning commercial propositions for the category, effectively communicating these to Customer Team and Sales Operation team as appropriate.
  •  "Accountable and Responsible for leading the MSR/MGR meeting :         - Review the uplift numbers (based on ICP) vs. sales forecast,                 - Recommend action plans to close gaps."
  •  Responsible for developing and coaching direct reports, ensuring PE/PDG discussions are conducted on time. Make recommendations to Head of Trade Marketing for inclusion in talent programs and succession plans as appropriate.
  •  Responsible for ensuring adherence to all company principles and policies.
  •  Ensure compliance of team’s activities with the WHO Code, local code and the Company Instructions

Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of key business functions.
  • Working Knowledge of core Business Processes e.g. Integrated Commercial Planning, Monthly Business,Planning & Innovation & Renovation Stage Gate Process.
  • Working knowledge of Competition Law.
