Responsibilities

  • Confer with management, production, other internal departments and customers (as required) to discuss project and product repair requirements and procedures.
  • Coordinate and manage projects, making detailed plans to accomplish product/process capability set-up in production and goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Analyze technology, resource needs, and production demands associated with establishing product repair capability.
  • Plan and assess the feasibility of product / process capability introductions.
  • Plan and manage the installation of equipment, product / process testing, qualifications, training, creation and maintaining repair documentation.
  • Manage creation, review and approve product/process repair documentation, tool designs and changes.
  • Select and recruit employees; assign, manager, and evaluate their work; and oversee their development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Prepare cost calculations for budgets, bids, and contracts.
  • Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering staff and technical work performed in the department.
  • Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing/correcting reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.
  • Review and recommend or approve cost estimates.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
  • Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.
  • Close cooperation with customer support, NPI engineering, tool making, quality departments to achieve business goals and targets.
  • Set technical goals within broad outlines provided by top management.
  • Manage the day-to-day engineering activities for product engineering, process development, tooling development, etc.
  • Manage distribution of workload over reporting staff.
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate survey work with other staff activities.

​Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s / Master Degree in Engineering (Mechanic/ Energy/ Industrial or Metallurgy)
  • Minimum 8 years of working experience in engine machine repair with 2 years in managerial level
  • Relevant work experience and knowledge in engine machine repair, repair processes and quality assurance environment.
  • Excellence in English communication in both verbal and writing
