Responsibilities 

  • Assist the FSQR Manager in the development, implementation and assessment processes/systems – directs implementation of all FSQR, specification and management of change systems for Thailand, drives continuous improvement and  providing  input to Thailand business leadership related to base/non-base capital needs to maintain food safety leadership position
  • Ensure compliance of regulations/policies – assumes ultimate accountability for all FSQR compliance, direction and activities for Thailand, analyzes and interprets FSQR policies, regulations, customer and supplier standards, directs implementation of FSQR policies, customer and supplier standards across for Thailand, act as liaison with regulatory authorities at a national level
  • Perform prevention activities and issue resolution – ensure connectivity and collaboration between FSQR and other functions across facilities within Thailand,  working with suppliers/external manufacturers, proactively anticipates risk and takes preventative action across Thailand, accountable for completion of facility audits and proactively address risk areas
  • Shape food safety, quality and regulatory culture/reputation – responsible as central FSQR interface with customer and suppliers for Thailand, builds internal and external partnerships, ensure customer complaint issues addressed, lead implementation of platform strategy to ensure a highly engaged FSQR workforce

Qualifications

  • Intermediate Auditing/Compliance: Applies auditing/quality compliance skills to identify & manage risks/compliance.
  • Intermediate Knowledge of Food Laws and Regulations: Stays up-to-date and ensures compliance with food laws and regulations.
  • Intermediate HAACP Knowledge/Implementation - Applies HACCP to identify and control food safety hazards
  • Intermediate Customer Specifications Management: Interfaces effectively with customers; ensures products meet customer specifications; answers questions and solves customer problems.
  • Intermediate Supplier Quality Assurance - Identifies and addresses supplier quality issues.
  • Intermediate Managing and Improving Processes - Delivers processes that are aligned, effective, and optimize company resources.
  • Intermediate Plant/Manufacturing Knowledge - Demonstrates practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations.
  • Intermediate Project Management - Applies a structured, disciplined approach to planning, administering and completing projects successfully.
  • Intermediate Knowledge Company Policies & Standards - Applies CFSRA policy and standards to enhance food safety and quality.
