Responsibilities

  • Product - Perform feasibility studies for the implementation of new product introduction, technical, commercial and financial impact.
  • Process - Provide sustaining support of the production process by standardizing work, improving processes, tooling needed to improve quality and costs.
  • People - Provide sufficient and proper training to team or employees which is able to increase people knowledge for efficiently working. 
  • Perform feasibility studies for the implementation of new products, technical as well as commercial and financial.
  • Create and collaborate with the Business Development team for the development of business plan, CER, budget and cost breakdown for NPI.
  • Initial parts provisioning studies.
  • Conduct the development of the first article including manufacturing plan, required documents, process, testing and inspection.
  • Coordinate and work closely with suppliers for approving the first article part.
  • Attend any follow up meetings with customers e.g. Rolls Royce.
  • Must provide sufficient instructions before production can begin.
  • Collaborate with Logistic and Supply Chain department to create demand in ERP to obtain materials required, tooling, and fixtures for production.
  • Revise operations and/or processes of production to meet customer requirement. 
  • Provide sustaining support of the production process by standardizing work, improving processes, tooling needed to improve quality and costs.
  • Provide engineering supervision to processes to meet and comply technical and audit standards.
  • Develop and establish new innovation and manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical assistance to the production related issues (e.g. Manufacturing or inspection).
  • Support Production in achieving the performance/productivity metrics.
  • Be a part of production team to continuously develop new system/program to improve the production control systems.
  • Coordinate and work with for audit preparation.
  • To identify frontier technology for collaboration and/or to develop and implement the company capability.
  • Provide sufficient and proper training to team or employees which is able to increase people knowledge for efficiently working. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or other related fields with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering industry environment.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English is required (TOEIC 700 up).
  • Able to read, interpret and understand engineering drawing, customer specification and requirement, and other specifications.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Suite (MS Word, Office, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Good attitude and always have safety mind.
  • Be able to make decisions quickly and sometimes under pressure.
  • Good Interpersonal skills & team.
