Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with management including operations team to develop & execute the strategies to gain trust, and win-win approach relationship with the Union, and be an expert for clear internal communication and partnership with the government.
  • Drive and support the workforce for the delivery of high performing cultural change including leading in Performance management: provide advice and guidance on Evaluation, Feedback issues.
  • Coach, support, mentor, advise and challenge functional leaders including Operations In compliance with Regulations, HR policies and practices, provide advice and guidance on complex HR issues to minimize risks and financial exposures.
  • Lead the working team and project teams and promote the best practices and sound initiatives in dealing with challenging situations.
  • Lead, execute and/or facilitate all types of separation i.e. layoff, firing or departure process of employees who leave voluntarily. They conduct exit interviews and administer severance, and often they assist with firing decisions and notification of termination.
  • Coach HR team to delivery of high performance and compliance
  • Achieve other assigned tasks

Labor Relations/Union:

  • Gain trust and maintain good relationship with labor union and employee committee
  • Propose and execute strategy to win-win approach with the union
  • Improve the communication gaps between the company, the union, and employees. This involves receiving and effectively handling employee complaints, escalating these complaints to the level of disciplinary or legal action when necessary, updating employees with any changes in company policy, advising supervisors on treatment of staff and company policies, responds to employee violations of policy and generally helps to resolve conflict in the workplace.

Talent Management (including hi-potential) & Recruitment:

  • Recruit talents, develop & engage them especially the roles of leadership & hi-potentials
  • Review hiring process – internal hiring, external hiring, and both to get the right talents.
  • Develop and improve tests for assessing candidates’ competencies as per job requirements i.e. basic English test for promotion, technical testing, psychology test, attitude test, leadership, presentation skills, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor qualified in HR, laws, or related fields and MBA is an advantage
  • Possess HR competencies at the expert level with at least 5 years in the MNC of handling the union negotiation as well as > 4 - 8 years in other human resources roles & responsibilities.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, applying a flexible, creative, and win-win approach; analytical & problem solving skills, systematic & logical thinking, pro-active and leadership
  • Excellent communication in English and Thai – both business writing and verbal communication
  • Competent level skills in core IT application, particularly MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
