Sales Growth from Developing Close Customer Relationships

New Business Development: Create and executes business development plans for new and existing technical and product offerings. Identifies new prospective customers and qualifies new sales opportunities, including:

  • Deeper market penetration of core product offering such as Specialty Ingredients and Technical Feed Additives
  • New customer development
  • Leverage technology application team to deploy unique technology and services to make customers more profitable, then link this service offering to product sales. Existing Account Management: Initiates, develops, and maintains long/lasting customer working relationship with clients at multiple levels, including:
  • Translates business plans and sales strategy into account specific growth plans.
  • Positions Product’s portfolio of products/services for most favorable opportunities by presenting the company’s capabilities and solutions.
  • Build and execute strategy to achieve sales targets and volume growth goals.
  • Lead customer-facing efforts to generate demand.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and maximize return on investment for existing accounts
  • Accountable for the overall success of the customer relationships by delivering significant business/financial impact within area of scope (i.e. Feed millers in Thailand).
  • Builds relationships with senior/key stakeholders in customer’s organization. Identifies/build relationships with a broad set of key gatekeepers, influencers and decision-makers to ensure that margins and sales goals are exceeded through a significant understanding of the customers’ needs and ways to enhance brand added value proposition.
  • Monitors closely the customer relationship for continuous value creation and performance optimization opportunities. Collaborate/partners with Supply Chain team to ensure availability of raw materials and ability to meet customer specifications and timelines. Ensures that customers are satisfied and that any inquries, incidents and/or issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Partners with a broad internal/external network of business stakeholders to exchange ideas (i.e. marketing/brand managers, solutions/technical sales specialist, technical services consultants, product line managers, etc). Leverages and develops long-lasting external network contacts (i.e. industry related contacts).
  • Supports customer needs through effective collaboration with company functions (Supply Chain, Technical Services, Customer Services, Operations, Logistics/Transportation, etc).
  • Establishes strategic/tactical coordination across-BUs and may directly drive cross-selling opportunities with other business units to provide an integrated approach to meet/exceed customers current/future needs and requirements as well as gain customer long-term / continued commitment.
  • Maintain up to date account plans for key customers.
  • Achieve sales targets for profitable volume growth and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
  • Ensures customer retention and satisfaction while maximizing customer’s ROI opportunities
  • Executes customer pricing programs within guidelines established by pricing policy and procedures. Collaborates with sales management and provides feedback on pricing strategy competiveness and application.


  • Exceptional client focus – with attention toward improving customer results. Ability to build trust and identify issues where product can serve client in sustainable technical-commercial relationship.
  • Possess a balance of technical skills and business acumen to identify opportunities for optimizing our customers’ production results.
  • A technical expertise and has working knowledge of livestock production industry in Thailand, including a deep understanding of producer economics and industry trends.
  • Solid knowledge of the customer’s business objectives, requirements/needs and competitor offerings.
  • Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and/or Animal Production or Animal Health, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Knowledge of Animal Science, Feed Milling, and/or Livestock Production.
  • Over 5 years of progressive external sales and business development with a good track record and experience    in the Industry,
  • Sales experience in a multinational or leading regional animal nutrition / animal health company
  • Good prospecting and closing skills.
  • Works well with team–leading a key account management approach (Sales, Technical, Marketing)–create a lead deployment of sales plans
  • Ability to develop and present a business solution
  • Intermediate to advance English
