Responsibilities

  • Identify key target potential customers and establish a strategy to maintain and develop new sales opportunities.
  • Develop together with the Head of Sales & Marketing an aggressive sales action plan to achieve monthly & annual sales and business targets for new business and cross selling targets.
  • Develop new customer prospecting plan which focuses on closing new sales with an aim to exceed budgeted targets.
  • Ensure that there is regular face to face contact with all customers assigned to the BDM and adopt a consultative sales approach with all customers.
  • Proactively sell to identified key targets and develop viable pipeline of new business.
  • Responsible for implementation, co-ordination and results of marketing activity related to the new market development.
  • Assume direct account management responsibility for identified market segment to ensure proper administration and timely renewal of each account’s contract.
  • Provide weekly and monthly sales activities reports in line with Location, Region and/or Global requirements.
  • Develop long lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Develop Key Account Management Plan for existing business. 
  • Provide top level account management for existing clients and focus on relationship building to increase the profitability of each client through relationship marketing and cross selling.
  • Provide responsive and effective account management, problem resolution and follow up.
  • Ensure clients pay promptly within credit terms with zero bad debt accounts.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of sales & marketing experience. Proven experience in B2B consultative selling by offering solutions to meet customer requirements for at least 4 years in a service/solution related business.
  • Knowledge in oil & gas, construction, manufacturing & mining market segments and has a basic understanding with HSE policy and procedures.
