Responsibilities

Business Partnering - Manage the enablement of business performance and sustainable growth including:

  • Actively participate in strategic people decisions
  • Serve as a member of the BU management team, accountable for the people components of the business strategy and ensuring business objectives are achieved
  • Partner with Country Director and key leadership to build effective teams and individuals
  • Manage the collaboration of one team with all HR groups to ensure effective service delivery to the organization
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability for the delivery of the HR Function strategy in alignment with the business strategy

Talent Management – Manage and drive the business talent strategy to include:

  • Assist in identifying, communicating and executing the people impacts of the business strategy
  • Contribute to the people plan with business knowledge and market trends
  • Drive Talent Talk process in the country, focusing on coaching management in the areas of developing employees, targeted talent moves, and strategic succession planning
  • Effectively execute the Thailand Talent Plan and continuously adapt for changing business needs
  • Partner with HR SSC to proactively source, recruit, and develop a diverse workforce that meets current and future business needs
  • Drive excellence in  Performance Management through effective communication and process management, addressing problems, and coaching managers 
  • Partner with managers and employees on effective development plans, and help identify and promote opportunities for growth

Change Leadership – lead change efforts and build change capability in the business

  • Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in response to changes in the business
  • Continuously challenge for on-going improvement
  • Be a champion of the change management model and knowledgeable of the various tools and templates to help lead the business through various levels of change
  • Play a key leadership role in change efforts including organizational change, business expansion, and process changes (HR and other functional areas including Marketing and our approach to customers)

Culture Stewardship – actively build and sustain the culture that differentiates our business through our strong values and Green Book

  • Uphold and demonstrate the company values of Integrity, Respect for Others, Commitment to Serve, and Passion for Success
  • Serve as a role model for others to engage and inspire them
  • Effectively lead the Engagement process, analyzing results, and partnering with managers and teams to create valuable action plans that drive positive engagement
  • Help reinforce our values through Green Book launches and Green Day activities
  • Uphold our Guiding Principles through personal behavior, on-going recertification process ownership, necessary on-boarding and training, and effectively addressing issues
  • Lead recognition efforts country-wide including communications and role modeling recognition behaviors

HR Function Leadership – drive excellence in HR through active membership of the company’s Regional HR team, and demonstrated HR expertise for the company.

  • Actively participate on Regional HR Leadership team to share best practices, provide deep knowledge of the TH business,  and provide input to the regional strategy
  • Ensure effective delivery of all HR services and processes such as, sourcing and selection, compensation processes including annual salary planning and incentives, performance management, expatriate administration, labor relations workforce planning and employee data management
  • Act as liaison between the BU and HR Shared Services and ensure successful implementation of the HR Delivery Model
  • Ensure compliance with corporate requirements, company HR policies, and country and local employment, legal and labor laws.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years Human Resources BP experience in MNC
  • Strong expertise in various HR processes: sourcing and selection, talent management, compensation, training  and development, labor relations and change management
  • Proven success in leading the development and implementation of HR strategies
  • Strong business acumen required
  • Demonstrated ability to support an environment that emphasizes client-focus, collaboration and interdependence
