Responsiblilities

  • Responsible for coordinating and controlling the full range of finance & accounting and customer service, and demand & supply planning (distribution) functions. 
  • Plans, organizes and directs timely and accurate preparation of financial and regulatory reports for management, regulators and / or other external constituencies such as reports on earnings, profits, cash balances, taxation and other financial matters.  Supervises a team of clerical staffs.
  • Plan and drive to work towards achieving company vision, objectives as well as divisional mission and strategies
  • Ensure adequate level of adequate staff in Finance, Customer Service and Tender and Quotation (if applicable)
  • Contributes to the development and monitoring of area budget through regular analysis of cost and spending
  • Ensure compliance with local and global policies and procedures
  • Recognizes importance and inter-dependence of financial information with other systems and departments and ensures the accuracy of information produced by the department
  • Provide Ad Hoc support and solutions to meet local and HQ business decision making, planning and reporting requirements
  • Manages the responsible operational budget effectively
  • Motivate and development of staff

Qualifications

  • Financial/Accounting tertiary qualification to degree/diploma level - essential.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance/accounting at a senior level with evident success.
  • Experience in leading a team of finance professionals.
  • Experience gained in multinational medical device companies will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of local country regulations and global Financial Policies and Procedures.
  • Understanding Planning and Reporting processes.
  • Understanding of complete Order to Cash process.
  • Set vision and strategy.
  • Build organization and good business acumen.
  • Excellent spoken and written of English and local language
