Business Development Manager

One of the Leading Logistics & Transport Company
Report to
Group Operations Director


  • Identify sale lead and opportunity to grow the business
  • Build up and maintain healthy sales pipeline
  • Take lead in presenting commercial proposal and commercial negotiation with client
  • Take lead to penetrate into designated market sector/territory as assigned by BD director
  • Bring in realistic opportunity to build up and maintain sale pipeline
  • Perform initial feasibility/quality evaluation of incoming lead/opportunity
  • Collect client service requirement and transfer an information to solution design teams
  • Provide market intelligence/client inside information to solution team to develop commercial proposal
  • Develop/review commercial proposal in response to client enquiry/RFQ
  • Take lead in commercial proposal presentation and commercial negotiation with client
  • Maintain positive relationship with client
  • Perform due diligent to service contract
  • Provide annual/monthly/weekly reports on sale visit/meeting, RFQ status update
  • Support other BD and marketing related activity as assigned by BD director
  • Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies.



  • Bachelor in Logistics or Business Administration or Marketing or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus


  • 3-5 year experience in Sales and Marketing
  • 1-3 year experience with contract logistics business
  • Knowledge in the field of logistics/SCM
  • Connection/client base in cold chain/domestic distribution is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Enjoy challenging project work and collaboration with internal and external clients.
  • Strong team player (promotes active cooperation within the team).
  • Able to work under pressure and tight timeline
