Primary Function:

Market Research (40%)

  • Responsible for conducting market research of new products to be launched in Thailand. (Responsibility including selecting the appropriate research methodology, developing questionnaire, and face-to-face interviewing with KOLs.)

New Business Development (60%)

  • Responsible for providing business case analysis that results from analyzing the data of market research (survey result) and business intelligence data (IMS and online-data) and converting the data into business strategies (4Ps, Patient flow, Buying process, Channel strategy, SWOT), sales forecast potential, P&L analysis, registration & launch timeline evaluation, and business decision for the new products to be launched in Thailand
  • Responsible for exploring new business opportunity for Thailand and maybe for SEA

Responsible for being the project leader for some new business development projects for SEA countries.

Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate new products to fulfill pipeline through market research approach.
  2. Conduct the opinion survey of KOLs to get key insight for the new products, therapeutic areas, current treatment practice, and KOLs’ attitude regarding product profile & clinical studies of new products to be launched in Thailand
  3. Co-coordinating with related function (local RA, local finance, and global team) to get information to provide business case analysis such as P&L analysis, registration & launch timeline evaluation, etc.
  4. Identifying market trends and developments through constantly explore, assess and utilize new business opportunities by contacting with the cross functional Team and cooperating with respective Business Units in order to arrive with business / in-licensing projects of new medicines acquisition, which introduces into Thai pharmaceutical market and expands the company's business strategically.
  5. Exploring new business opportunity

• Engineering and facilitating a set of monthly activities from Idea generation  (internal / external) 

• Initiating or coordinating with team to quantify market potential from selected ideas

• Running brainstorming / workshop to sell new business opportunity to relevant marketing team

• Seeking supports from other expertise or different function to justify business opportunity

  1. Being the project leader for some new business development projects for SEA countries.
  2. Acting as the market intelligence for top management team.
  • Providing the analysis of Thai pharmaceutical market with secondary market research data, in particular IMS for top management team per request.
  • Coordinating with Regional Asia Pacific Market Research Team to suggest and provide the data of Thailand per request.
  • Coordinating with market research agency to conduct market research of existing products per marketing team’s request.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate with Bachelor Degree of Pharmacy
  • Graduate with Master Degree of Business Administration. Graduate with MBA from abroad is a plus.
  • Have work experience for at least 2 years in pharmaceutical industry as Business Development Manager, Market Research Manager, or Marketing related field
  • Have in-field work experience as medical representative at least 1-2 years is a plus
  • Excellence communication skills in English including writing, listening, reading, and speaking
