Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Sales target for responsible areas.
  • Coordinate budgets, forecasts and reports.
  • Evaluate sales reps progress and development through coaching, performance evaluation and correspondence.
  • Contribute to the development of the sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing and distribution strategies for the region.
  • Ensure implementation of product strategies within responsible area.
  • Manages and lead the day to day activity of district sales team in order to implement the organization’s overall sales strategy for the region.
  • Coach sales representatives on the technical aspects of the organization’s products and services; on marketing campaigns and sales promotions; and on sales technique’s, procedures and standards that will help them to achieve their sales target.
  • Maintain Strategic partnership with major customer and business partners; ensure delivery of high quality service and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise field activity of sales personnel and make recommendations to improve staffing/call activity. 
  • Assure the collections within the planned periods, rationalize and control the utilization of sales expense of the define territory.
  • Recommend appointment, transfer, promotion, reward, discipline, succession and termination of sales team members within the defined territory.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Science or related fields
  • Have minimum 3 year experience in sales as a Sales manager, preferably with experience in pharmaceutical business
  • Good knowledge of OTC channels
  • Have a strong leadership skill and competency in building and developing team
  • Be self-motivated, result-oriented, team-player and service minded
  • Have excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Able to work up-country
