A leading global pharmaceutical company


Demand Management

  • Implement trade routes defined by EATA and ensure their understanding through the supply network
  • Production planning & scheduling via 3rd-Party Contract Manufactures
  • Monitor inventory of RM/PM/WIP at Party Contract Manufacturers
  • Determine method of communication of demand data and implement ESC/Collaborate, ensuring compliance by the client demand nodes.
  • Address issues with forecast accuracy including alteration of supply parameters if necessary
  • Act as first point of contact for arbitration of demand conflicts, liaising with Global Logistics where necessary.
  • Monitor long term demand patterns, reviewing with manufacturing Strategy to ensure a complete picture

Supply Management

  • Define Ways of Working with the contractor ensuring Supply Contract obligations are met and Customer requirements are taken into account
  • Define Supply Parameters including MOQs, lead-times, transport times, material write-off responsibilities
  • Medium to long term capacity management including highlighting any capital investment or line validation requirements and reviewing these with manufacturing Strategy.
  • Apply GMS supply chain processes as far as possible to enable seamless view to Customers.
  • Represent 3rd Party on global rationing team within Global Logistics
  • Assure good customer service from the contractor to client customers


  • Place purchase orders for delivery of products/materials on a timely basis
  • Procure raw and packaging materials as required with deliveries scheduled to the contactors’ premises
  • Ensure vendors meet the quality specifications and standards for products as well as raw and packaging materials
  • Identify sources of raw and packaging components for new products
  • Pursue cost saving opportunities in procurement spend and CM suppliers

Performance Management

  • Implement, target-set and monitor KPIs at the contractor, accounting for contracted parameters
  • Identify opportunities and manage programs for performance improvement
  • Risk management, escalating to the appropriate party.
  • Represent contractor in SOLS management, ensuring information is available to customers and the contractor on a timely basis
  • Manage performance and change through regular S&OP meetings
  • Report contractor performance monthly
  • Run root cause analysis reviews for identification of issues and development of remedial actions

Technical Change

  • Coordinate technical transfer
  • Coordinate NPI at the 3rd-party
  • Manage exit and rationalization
  • Assure security of supply though supply chain planning for all technical changes


  • Alignment of demand with supply capability
  • Define and facilitate the relationship interfaces between the 3rd Party and customers
  • Build long term relationships with the 3rd Party
  • Implement contract obligations
  • Provide input for Business Review
  • Develop Strategy for the 3rd party as part of team.
  • To participate local commercial project as requested


  • At least 8 years of supply chain management experience related to demand & supply management.
  • Experience dealing with 3rd-party manufacturer is not a must, but preferred.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Good planning skills.
  • Good command of English.
