Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Marketing

  • Identify attractive growth segments and prepare market development plans, accordingly
  • Develop and implement regional-level and country-level marketing plans in partnership with commercial and technical teams, including marketing campaigns that lead to achievement of desired outcomes and targets;
  • Plans will 1) align go-to-market efforts through multiple channels 2) consider long-term (3-5 year) business and product line growth forecasts, 3) as well as short-term (under 1 year) market development priorities
  • Position portfolio offering to match the needs of customers in priority growth segments.
  • In collaboration with marketing communications manager, develop & facilitate the execution of branding and communication plan for the region, aligned with broader organization strategy, utilizing a robust understanding of our customers’ behaviors, buying process, drivers and barriers.
  • Actively engage colleagues from Global Functions and other Regional businesses to align strategic efforts and share best practices, as needed.

Create and Position the Offering

  • Drive efforts to develop the optimum product/service mix to maximize profitability.
  • In partnership with the commercial and technical teams 1) properly position our product and service portfolio in the market 2) create compelling positioning statements to articulate the benefits and features of the offering, expressed in terms customers will value.
  • Consider industry trends, competitive dynamics, and the unique value proposition to the customers we served.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the SEA business leadership team, as well as both strategic marketing and technology leaders across company, and within company. This requires building relationships, establishing a proven track record in serving the business, drafting best practices, gaining insight on new opportunities, and providing the ‘voice of the customer’

New Product, Service and Solution (NPSS) Development

  • Leverage market knowledge/insights to provide input to the new product, services and solutions (NPSS) pipeline.
  • Lead/guide NPSS projects that support the overall countries go-to-market strategy.
  • Be a champion for a customer focused innovation culture.
  • Monitor the business performance of new products during its launch phase (distribution channel, visibility, price, early experience of the consumer).
  • Incorporate innovation take-away/conclusions into go-to-market plans to effectively communicate value to our customers.

Talent Development

  • Coach and develop skilled marketing leaders and marketing capability along with identifying skills required to serve the target customer segments.
  • Keeping abreast of new marketing activation and digital marketing trends, applying them to marketing campaigns and sharing with team members.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an agricultural or business discipline or equivalent experience in business.
  • Over 8 years of demonstrated expertise and proven track record in similar capacity role
  • Experience in growing a business
  • Experience and proven success in marketing expertise, along with leading strategic projects to impact the business financial results
  • Experience in fiduciary responsibility, including budgets, expenses, or pricing
  • Experience with managing marketing agencies or digital creative agency
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Team player with high collaborative ability, able to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced matrix environment.
