Responsibilities:

Retail Sales Development

  • Develop sales and manage sales performance  by boutiques & store to reach the target (monthly & full year target)
  • To act as liaison with store management to maximize brand growth.
  • Compile monthly sales report to Country General Manager.  Review business result and propose action plan.
  • Liaison with Marketing to plan activities to uplift sell-out and boost ranking at boutiques & stores.
  • Implement Door by Door sales plan, with focus on boutiques & flagship counters.
  • Manage sales (retail & expense) budgets effectively towards profit maximization.
  • Efficient order taking, processing and delivery of stocks to department stores to ensure optimum inventory at counters, receive stock on time especially for new product launches.
  • Active follow up to ensure credit terms are compiled.
  • Evaluate and recommend credit terms for new operators.
  • Recommend, forecast & control the annual sales budget.
  • Lead, manage and implement Retail ("Addict to Retail" / "Addict to BCs") projects over the boutiques & counters.
  • Assist in execution of any given regional/central retail related projects.

Management  of Sell out and Sell in team

  • Lead and manage all sales team to achieve business objectives
  • Work closely and hands on with Retail team and RBDM to optimize business opportunity and brand growth
  • Recruit, motivate, coaching, evaluate and retain a dynamic sales team.
  • Provide feedback to training team for sales force training needs.
  • Manpower planning & schedule staff at key periods to optimize productivity.
  • Control overtime & Part Timer expenses whilst ensuring proper counter coverage.

Brand / Image & Merchandising Execution

  • Enhance Brand Image through visual, merchandising, BC grooming and POS activities.
  • Enforce strict and regular control of POS Merchandising, decoration and operating conditions up to PCD standards and following central guidelines.

Promotion / animation management

  • Supervise and execute the promotional activities formulated by marketing department.
  • Discuss and negotiate with the store to have visuals, promotion events etc.
  • Work closely with marketing team & represent the company to negotiate with the store for good slots for HPP/events. 
  • Work closely with marketing team to allocate GWP timely & effectively to boutiques & counters.

Inventory Management                

 

  • Monitor & control, both at warehouse if applicable (mini warehouse at office or SDV warehouse) at boutique & counter level to ensure no over stocking.
  • Liaison with Finance/Logistic team (including Singapore platform) and close supervision to ensure proper warehousing and timely delivery.
  • Guide Beauty Consultant to achieve right mix of inventory to keep clean stocks.

Trade Relations

  • Develop friendly relations with trade to maximize business opportunity.
  • Obtain firsthand information on new project and competitor’s move from trade.

Sales & Distribution  Strategies

  • Propose Brand manager and Country General Manager the preferred counter locations from sales perspectives.
  • Work closely with marketing team, and represent the company to secure HPP/POP UP period with departmental stores.

Qualification:

  • Degree holder in Business Administration or related discipline, MBA would be an advantage.
  • Over 10 years sales experience combined in cosmetics or luxury products or consumer goods.
