Responsibilities:

  • Develop & Lead the demand planning team
  • Lead on coordinate and communication of the sales forecasting tool to stakeholders such as sales frontline, trade marketing, marketing and supply chain team
  • Qualify sales forecasting data input, challenge new product, promotional and top line forecast information provided by Sales, Trade and Marketing or distributor to ensure the quality of particularly the longer term forecast.
  • Continuous improvement in demand planning process.
  • Manage overall demand management process and ensure strategic issues, challenges and opportunities are escalated to and discussed with the management team
  • Ensure high quality and accuracy of Demand Planning data
  • Identify gaps between Plan and Actual and raise the gaps to Sales team for further corrective actions
  • Participate in the meeting, prepare all data and metrics for review, identify gaps and scenarios, and communicate key conclusion to stakeholders and perform follow up of the actions
  • Work with  Sales, Trade Marketing, and Marketing team to ensure that proposed and agreed volume forecast and product launch will be implemented and achieved as planned
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain team and other functions e.g. finance to ensure the data accuracy to be reviewed and analyzed for business planning and strategic development
  • Lead corporate initiatives aimed at improving current business processes.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Supply Chain or MBA
  • Over 7 - 10 years’ of managerial experience in demand planning of FMCG, consumers products or relevant work experience.
  • SAP application experience preferred
  • Experience in Beverages industry with a specific emphasis on Planning or Supply Chain functions preferred
  • Superior MS Word, Excel and Power Point skills
  • Experience using demand forecast tools (IBP, JDA)
  • Experience using Syndicated data sources (IRI, Nielsen) are preferable
