Responsibilities:
- Provides support in all areas involving commercial/financial planning, rolling forecast, spending monitoring and control, trade hygiene, analysis and reporting, including but not limited to:
- Off-take
- Shipments
- Channel DOH
- All other Trade KPIs – Distributors and Customers
- Gross-to-Net (Customer T&Cs)
- Trade A&P spend
- Customer and Channel/Brand P&Ls
- ROI and Investment allocations
- All other commercial/trade analysis
- Reporting – internal and external
- Identify and implement improvements to streamline controls, monitoring and reporting processes.
- Prepares, analyzes, monitors and reviews product pricing requests by channel from Commercial team, to ensure alignment with budget.
- Reviews commitment of trade funds and expense requests, claims and charges - - such as Promo Work Plan, Request for Business Expense, Discounts/Rebates/Incentives, PAF, Local Business Travel Request, Request to Purchase, Request for Memo Invoice and Sales Force Commission - for approval by Finance Director to ensure:
- Actual claims or charges are valid and as per approved purpose/amounts;
- Expense requests are aligned with Plan or RLBE as the case maybe;
- The appropriate policies and procedures are adhered to.
- As delegated by the Finance Director, approves expense requests, claims and charges up to defined limits.
- Performs monthly review and reconciliation with all external distributors for all charges/claims and ensure accurate internal accruals/reversals are in place on timely basis with complete compliance.
- Prepares monthly and quarterly internal/external Management reporting and analytics in compliance with Corporate Reporting Requirements.
- Prepares Customer/Channel/Brand Profit and Loss and provides relevant insights, identification of opportunities and risks to Plan and RLBE.
- Prepares performance Trade – Distributors/Customers dashboards/KPIs.
Identifies and initiates areas for improvements -- revenue and margin enhancements, efficiencies and cost savings. Leads and/or participates in improvement project/s.
Qualification:
- Minimum 5 years of experiences in Commercial Finance area.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and resolve issues/challenges faced at all levels within the organization, with sound commitment and business partnering mindset.
- Strong analytical skill, leadership capabilities, building sound relationships with both internal and external business partners.
- Self-motivated with the energy and ability to enhance internal and external processes/reporting, including the identification of opportunity areas to further drive efficiencies.
- Ability to work successfully within matrix organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with good command of English.
